Roadmap

What has landed recently, and what is being looked at next.

Nothing below the first group is a promise, and the order changes. It is what the person building the site is currently looking at.

Recent updates

The last few things to land, newest first.

  • Tabs that scroll, and reorder on a phone

Keep more saved tabs than fit across the screen and the strip now scrolls sideways. It used to wrap onto a second row, so every tab you kept pushed the whole dashboard further down the page. You can also put them in the order you want on a touchscreen: hold a tab for a moment, then drag it. A line shows where it will land.

  • Two more places to price-check an item

Every row now links out to Skinport and to gladiator.tf as well, beside the six that were already there. Gladiator asks you to sign in with Steam before it shows you anything, which is their rule rather than a broken link. Non-craftable items are also addressed properly now: the links used to leave that off and send you to the craftable version, which is a different item at a different price.

  • A page for what the newest update added

Events, next to Dashboard, lists what the most recent game update brought with it: the new cases, everything each one can drop, and the new unusual effects split into hats and taunts. Each one carries the same price-check links the ledger does. Between updates it keeps showing the last one rather than going blank.

  • Crates and cases show what is inside them

Hover the count on a crate and it lists what it can drop, best grade first, with a line for whether it can roll an unusual. Numbered crates carry their series too, because a Series #1 and a Series #92 are different items at very different prices.

  • Item grades, on the tile and in a filter

Anything out of a case or a collection shows its grade, from Civilian up to Elite, and a saved tab can be just one of them. Every war paint is the same quality, so that colour was telling you nothing.

Things to come

What is being looked at next. Some of these will change shape or never happen, which is why they are a list rather than a schedule.

  • Unusualifiers showing the taunt they are for

Every Unusualifier is drawn with the same picture, so a list of them tells you nothing about which is which. The taunt should sit in front of it, the way a killstreak kit already shows its weapon.

  • Searching by class

Ask the ledger or the Inventory tab for your Scout items and get them, without knowing what any of them are called.

  • Better filters

There is more you can filter on than the form makes easy to reach, and some things you can see on a row that you cannot filter on at all. Both are worth fixing together.

  • Bringing in the spreadsheet you already keep

Most people arrive with years of trades in a sheet of their own shape. The idea is to let you say which of your columns is the price, which is the date, and so on, rather than guessing and getting it wrong.

  • Saving toward something

Pick the thing you are working toward and let the dashboard say how far off it is.

Not on here? Suggest it. It goes straight to the person who would build it, and the small ones get done first.
